Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Interior confirmed the existence of contacts and understandings with the leaders of the movement and activists in the demonstrations to be held tomorrow, Sunday, while indicating the development of security plans to protect the facility and public property.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Major General Khaled Al-Muhanna, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “What distinguishes these demonstrations is the existence of understandings and contacts with the leaders of the movement and the leaders of the demonstrations and activists, and that there is a consensus among all of them that the demonstrations are peaceful and civilized.”
He added, "There are public demands that have found their way of verification, and the government is serious and determined to complete the reform journey, and its previous measures have had good echoes among the protesters."
