Iraq and India discuss providing Indian nursing staff in hospitals

    Minister of Planning, Khalid Battal Al-Najem discussed the possibility of providing hospitals with Indian nursing staff.

    The Minister of Planning met the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Iraq, Pradeep Singh, a statement of his media office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    The two discussed a number of issues of common concern, and ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in the economic and investment fields, developing capabilities, and benefiting from Indian experiences, by supporting the efforts of the Iraqi government facing Corona pandemic, by providing Iraqi hospitals with highly qualified nursing staff.

    They also discussed the possibility of increasing the volume of Indian investments in Iraq, in various development sectors, and taking advantage of the investment opportunities available in those sectors.
