Ministry of Health and Environment announced the 1.006 new cases of COVID-19.
"9642 were tested in all the specialized laboratories in Iraq for this day, thus the total number of the tested cases since the beginning of pandemic in Iraq is 281901," included a statement by the ministry received by Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The laboratories of the Ministry of Health recorded 1006 cases of COVID-19 in Iraq and are distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa: 274, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 139, Medical City: 115, Najaf: 21, Basra: 96, Sulaymaniyah: 87, Erbil: 12, Duhok: 6, Karbala: 31, Wasit: 42, Kirkuk: 28, Diyala: 3, Babel: 48, Maysan: 11, Diwaniyah: 24, Dhi Qar: 50, Muthanna: 13, Nineveh: 1, Saladdin: 5 ".
It added, "the recovered cases are 235 distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa: 153, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 43, Najaf: 4, Basra: 6, Erbil: 3, Diyala: 13, Babil: 2, Maysan: 6, Al-Diwaniya: 1, Al-Muthanna: 1, Saladdin: 3", noting that" the death cases are 14 distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa: 4, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 2, Medical City: 4, Basra: 1, Diyala: 2, Muthanna: 1".
The statement pointed out that "the total number of infected cases is 9846, the total number of recovery cases is 4,573, the total under treatment is 4988, the intensive care cases are 63 and the total death are 285".
