The Minister of Youth and Sports, Adnan Darjal, directed the formation of a number of committees to present a vision and develop scientific plans that raise the reality of investment to be supportive of youth directorates and forums and sports clubs.
Dirjal said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "It is the duty of the Ministry of Youth and its tasks to nurture and develop the youth and sports sector in Iraq, calling for attention to future plans for discussion and approval to start a new stage of reconstruction that is felt by both the Iraqi youth and athlete."
And Dergal said that "the investment project should benefit mainly the youth and athletes in the region in which it is, and we will not be satisfied that the investment is random, unplanned and planned according to a clear vision in which all the beneficiaries participate, and that the work is transparent and clear and involving all the sectors concerned."
