Oil ministry allocating one billion dinars to the Baghdad governorate

     Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Oil announced the allocation of one billion dinars to the Baghdad governorate.

     A spokesman for the ministry, Assem Jihad, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Oil Minister Thamer Al-Ghadban instructed the oil companies to allocate the amount of (billion dinars) to the province of Baghdad within the framework of the ministry's support to the provinces to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. Jihad pointed out that "the amounts of support for the governorates and health authorities aim to provide urgent medical supplies for hospitals and health quarantines, in order to enhance its efforts in protecting citizens and treating the injured," stressing "the ministry continues to provide material and moral support to the relevant authorities."
