On Thursday, Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zurfi stressed the importance of the media role and the advancement of the communications sector.
The media office of the president in charge stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), a copy of it, that "Al-Zurfi met the head of the Media and Communications Authority Ali Al-Khowaildi."
Al-Zurfi stressed "the importance of the media's role in the various challenges facing Iraq, the most recent of which is the Corona pandemic crisis," stressing at the same time "the need to advance the telecommunications sector and gain access to the mechanism that ensures the provision of the best services to the general public."
