The governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, proposed to tighten the ban measures by 100% after five o'clock in the afternoon every day.
Atta said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "there is no commitment to the curfew procedures in a number of areas of the capital," noting that "he proposed to the Baghdad Operations Command to tighten the ban by 100% after five o'clock in the afternoon and detain violators."
He pointed out that "Baghdad Governorate, since the early days of the emergence of the Corona virus, has formed a crisis cell in support of all health staff according to the capabilities available to it," noting that "the province has carried out the operations of fogging and clearing a number of districts as well as the areas of Rusafa and Karkh."
