State of Law bloc: We have no conditions for choosing the Prime Minister

Today, the State of Law coalition affirmed that it did not place conditions on the selection of the Prime Minister-designate.

The representative of State of Law, Abu Mujahid al-Rikabi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency : "The State of Law coalition did not have any personal or special conditions for approving any candidate for prime minister," noting that "the coalition's criteria are that the candidate be able to restore prestige For the armed forces, and to set a time period for early elections, as well as for his ability to disarm on the street. "

Al-Rikabi said that "the state of law from the first day, which was assigned by Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, realized that the time was not appropriate for his assumption of the prime minister, especially since Iraq is going through a critical period and that handing over the prime minister needs a great effort and a supportive political force," noting that "the coalition with The blocks and components, if they agree on a national figure who has the ability to bring the country to safety.
