Munich Security Conference 56TH kicked off on Friday, with an Iraqi participation.
Foreign Minister Muhammad Ali al-Hakim, the Minister of Defense and the National Security Adviser attended the Conference, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf in a statement to Iraqi News Agency INA.
Al-Hakim participated in the opening of the 56th Munich International Security Conference where his participation came to confirm the effective presence of Iraq in international forums, and to express Iraq's visions and positions regarding regional and international issues of a security nature, included the statement.
"It is hoped that Al-Hakim will hold a number of meetings on the sidelines of the conference with his counterparts and high-ranking officials from the countries participating in the conference," added al-Sahaf .
