The military spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Abdul Karim Khalaf, announced the formation of a task force headed by the Minister of Interior to pursue the tamperers in Public Security.
Khalaf said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency , that the government formed a working group headed by Interior Minister Yassin Al-Yasiri to pursue those who tampered with public security, stressing that "orders were issued to take immediate measures from the responsible leaders in the regions not to allow the cutting of roads and the closure of bridges, schools and state departments and began implementing This decision is made by the operations commander. "
He added that a large part of those who tamper with security announced the dissolution of themselves, but this does not exempt them from penalties and prosecution, under the clause of obstructing the work of the state.
Khalaf explained that "infringement of state employees is a crime punishable by law according to Article 226 of the Penal Code," stressing that "legal measures have been taken and the judiciary will be the judge of that."
