The Foreign Ministry confirmed today, Saturday, that it has formed an operating room to monitor the situation of Iraqi students in China.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following with great interest the conditions of Iraqi students who are studying in China after the authorities closed the city of Ohan, where they reside after the spread of Corona virus," noting that "and immediately after the availability of news The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ali Al-Hakim, directed the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in China to form an operations room headed by Ambassador Ahmed Tahsin Barwari, whose mission will be to coordinate with the Chinese Foreign Ministry office in Ohan to work to provide services to them, evacuate them, as well as communicate with students and their universities.
