    The head of the committee, Haitham Al-Jubouri, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The controversy surrounding the agreement is the absence of transparency, because it did not appear to the politicians, nor to the members of the House of Representatives, or to the media. That the agreement come to the House of Representatives to study it and turn it into a law for future governments to abide by. "

    Al-Jubouri pointed out that "Iraq today needs important strategic projects, and the budget does not cover that because of the operational aspects." Noting that "the agreement with China is a very important agreement because Chinese companies are sober and experienced in the field of infrastructure."

    He added that "long-term investment of oil in projects and can block itself, for example, the large port of Al-Faw, it is possible that after its completion three years to recover its money, as well as airports."

    The Prime Minister's advisor for financial affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, has confirmed that the trade agreement concluded between Iraq and China will focus on implementing infrastructure projects.

    Salih said in a brief statement from an expanded interview that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) will publish at a later time that "the agreement includes exchanging oil revenues for implementing projects in Iraq, pointing out that the Iraqi government has opened a credit account in one of the sober Chinese banks to bid farewell to the oil revenues of 100 A thousand barrels per day within the Chinese agreement.”
