Karbala Police Command and Health Department of the city denied the news that a number of protesters were stabbed with knives.
"There was no information received regarding the occurrence of stabbings in the governor,” stated Karbala Police Command's to Iraqi News Agency – INA.
Health Department confirmed of the city told INA, that no injuries were reported to the hospitals of stabbings conditions.
Earlier, media reported that a number of protesters had been stabbed with knives by unknown individuals in the province.
