The Civil Defense Directorate announced that a fire broke out inside a number of shops in Al-Rasheed Street in central Baghdad. Civil defense teams were able to control a fire in the old two-story Shanashil building. The ground floor, which was used as a store for car accessories, was burned, the directorate said in a statement received by the official Iraqi News Agency.
