PM receives French Foreign Minister

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi received French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, according to a statement received by the Prime Minister's Office.

In a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim, the French foreign minister stressed that Iraq is a key partner in the war against terrorism, noting that the gains made against Daesh are threatened by the Turkish incursion into northern Syria.
