The execution of 9 terrorists involved in the 2013 bombing of the Ministry of Justice

The Karkh Criminal Court sentenced to death nine terrorists convicted of involvement in the terrorist bombing of the Ministry of Justice in 2013 and left a large number of martyrs and wounded.

The Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency  that the Criminal Court heard a case concerning the terrorist bombing that hit the Ministry of Justice in May 2013 and left about a hundred of the martyrs and wounded.

The statement added that the terrorists admitted in the investigative and trial cycles that the crime was organized and designed to target the largest number of victims and sabotage state institutions according to a terrorist project aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the country.
