MOI: Distinguishing the Fire of Nasiriyah Gas Plant

Civil Defence units distinguished the fire of Nasiriyah Gas Plant, Thi Qar province that resulted in the death of three people.

“Fire started in the private tankers parked in the Nasiriyah Gas Plant due to technical issues and the high temperature,” said Ministry of Interior – MOI spokesman Saad Maan.

He added that the units of Civil Defence and Fire-fighters vehicles responded immediately and controlled the fire as to distinguish it eventually.

Only three were injured and one was severely affected.
