Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Al-Haddad said on Thursday that education is a main pillar for the advancement of peoples.
The media office of the deputy speaker of the Council of Representatives said that Al-Haddad visited Salah al-Din University in Erbil. Its branches and the role of academic institutions in building society and developing the intellectual and cognitive potential of youth, stressing the importance of the role of education in general and the University of Salah al-Din in particular and its impact in providing society with many influential scientific and political elites and professional competencies.
Al-Haddad praised the development and high ranking of the University of Salah al-Din at the level of the Kurdistan region, Iraq and the world.
