IHEC Board welcomes adoption of Provincial Councils Elections Lawamendment

The Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) Board of Commissioners welcomed, on Tuesday, the vote on the first amendment of the Provincial Councils Elections Law not organized in Regions and Districts No.12, 2018.

A statement by the Board of Commissioners, which INA received a copy of, said theadoption of the law is anadvanced step to enable the Commission to fulfill its tasks in preparation to hold the provincial councils elections on the 1^st of coming April.
