Judge Faik Zaidan, President of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq arrived in Iran on Monday, in a visit aiming to discuss promoting judicial cooperation between the two countries. A statement by the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council (Ina received a copy of) said: “Judge Zaidan arrived in Iran at the head of a high-level judicial delegation. He was received by ‘Mussadak Mouawen’, President of the Iranian Supreme Judicial Council, and ‘Ayatollah Ibraheem Raieesi’ Head of the Iranian Judiciary. The visit came at the invitation of head of Judiciary in the Islamic Republic of Iran; to promote judicial cooperation”.
