Halbousi discusses Baiji district’s reconstruction

    The Parliament’s Speaker Muhammad Halbousi discussed today with the Saladin Province’s chieftains delegation enhancing the efforts of reconstructing Baiji district and all other liberated cities and towns in the province.

    The Media Office of the Parliament’s Speaker issued a statement saying that Halbousi met some of the Province’s chieftains and notables who came from multiple areas of the province.

    The meeting discussed many files, including the security and service aspects, and how to maintain stability, besides searching for more ways to support the reconstruction efforts of Baiji districts and its surroundings, the statement showed.

    The meeting asserted on availing services in order to prepare good conditions for the displaced so that they could return back to their homes, and the importance of speeding up the compensation for those who got harmed by the military and terrorist operations, as well as facilitating the finishing of their procedures in order to end this file for good, the statement added.

    From their side, the Saladin Province’s chieftains and notables confirmed on renouncing all kinds of sectarian, doctrinal and nationalist differentiations to support Iraq’s land and people’s unity, besides supporting all efforts seeking to stabilize their province, the statement concluded.
