Parliamentary Committee of Culture, Media, Tourism and Heritage announced on Thursday that most of the members of UNISCO World Heritage Committee have approved to enlist Babel in the World Heritage.
The Iraqi delegation participated in the conference that was held in Baku and asserted that the negotiations resulted in the positive vibes to gain the approval of the members of the committee that are of 21 members representing 21 states.
The head of the delegation and the head of the Committee of Culture Sameea al-Ghalab presented the message of the Speaker of Iraqi Parliament Muhammed al-Halbosi to the participated delegations and the members of the committee.
The message included a recommendation and description of Bebel heritage and its significance to Iraqis and to the worldwide, hoping that it gains the approval to enlist it in the World Heritage.
