The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Oil Minister Thamer Abbas Al-Ghadhban on Thursday stressed the keenness of the government and the Ministry of Oil on the reconstruction of the affected provinces left by the war on gangs and called for terrorism, and work to develop the oil industry and encourage investment.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi news agency that Ghadhban said, during his participation in the Iraq Oil Conference, which is held in the British capital London for the period from 27 to 28 June 2019, his ministry was the first in the reconstruction of fields and refineries and oil reservoirs and filling stations Fuel and laboratories and liquid gas yards in the provinces of Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Anbar, Diyala and Kirkuk. Al-Ghadhban added that his ministry has prepared the necessary plans to promote the oil industry in these provinces through the national effort and in cooperation with local and foreign investment companies.
He welcomes all sincere efforts to invest in these provinces and work on the development of point industry and the optimal investment of national wealth and that investment is the best solution and the right way to strengthen the national economy. Pointing out that the ministry is working on the investment of all associated gas through contracting with specialized international companies.
