Al-Halbusi: Iraq is keen to maintain communication with US

INA – BAGHDAD

Speaker of Parliament Muhammed al-Halbusi asserted that Iraq is keen on the ongoing communication with the US and activate the mutual cooperation for the sake of both countries interests.

This came during a meeting between al-Halbusi and a delegation from Foreign Relations Committee, United States Senate where the US Chargé d'affaires to Iraq Joey Hood

They also discussed the contribution of the US companies in Iraq and the government support to provide services for citizens in terms of energy, housing, health and education in addition to maintain the support of security forces to end extremism.
