Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohammed al-Halbousi discussed, on Wednesday, with head of al-Nasr (Victory) Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, political developments.
The Speaker's media office said in a statement, which INA received a copy of, that both sides tackled the latest developments in the country, emphasizing on the cooperation among political powers to support the government in implementing its programme to serve the citizens.
The meeting discussed the dossier of completing the parliamentary committees and activating their role in counter-corruption, let alone, enacting the legislation that would contribute in improving the social and service status.
