CBI launches anti-desertification project

Central Bank of Iraq launched, on Monday,  a project to counter desertification  at Al-Mada'in district, which comes within "Tamkeen" (Enable) initiative, accomplished in cooperation with Private Banks League and the Ministry of Agriculture.

During the inauguration ceremony and attended by INA, Iraq Central Bank Governor,  Ali Mohsen  al-Alaq, said that both the agricultural and industrial sectors are the way to upgrade the reality of this country and operate its resources and manpower and the Bank works, directly and actively, to revive the economic reality.
