The Parliament Speaker Muhammad Halbousi met his Jordanian counterpart A’atif Trawna today in Doha on the sidelines of the works of the General Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union.
A statement issued by the Council of Representatives said that both sides discussed during the meeting enhancing the mutual cooperation in the economic and security fields, besides coordinating efforts in anti terrorism and putting a limit to the extremist intellect.
Both Speakers confirmed on the necessity of unifying the status related to the challenges the region faces, especially the Palestinian case, the statement concluded.
