PM Al-Sudani: Iraqi forces are willing to keep stability

    Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani said on Wednesday, that Iraqi forces are determined to continue working to keep stability.
     
    The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, received today, the commander of the US Central Command, General Michael Corella and his accompanying delegation," noting that "the meeting was attended by the commander of the international coalition forces in Iraq and Syria, General Matthew McFarlane, as well as the US ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romansky."
    The statement added that "during the meeting, they discussed aspects of military cooperation and coordination between Iraq and the United States."
     
    Al-Sudani confirmed "the importance of continuing joint action, especially in the field of providing advice and training to Iraqi forces, which are fighting the confrontation against terrorism effectively and professionally," stressing that "Iraqi forces are determined to continue working to stabilize and preserve the successes achieved in the war on terrorism."
