President Rashid confirms bonds of cooperation between Iraq and China

INA-  BAGHDAD 

President Abdul Latif Rashid confirmed on Sunday, bonds of friendship and cooperation between Iraq and China. 

Media office of the presidency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA that the President met the Chinese ambassador Cui Wei who conveyed the congratulations of the Chinese President to president Rashid on the occasion of assuming his duties, wishing him success and prosperity for the people of Iraq

On his part, President Rashid asked the Chinese ambassador Cui Wei to convey his thanks and greetings to the Chinese president wishing him success and luck on the occasion of electing him as General Secretary of the Communist Party.

Rashid also affirmed the ties of friendship and aspects of cooperation between both countries, stressing going forward in strengthening them for the good of the two peoples.
