The Ministry of Communications confirmed that there were no delays in the procedures of the optical cable project.
Ministry spokesman Raad Al-Mashhadani said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "there is no delay in the optical cable procedures, for reasons including that the FTTH projects are running and work is continuing in them, as well as the continuation of work on the national development project that was launched in the Zayouna district of Baghdad."
"The ministry is working in full swing with a number of projects, including the optical cable project," he added
