Health Minister Hassan Al-Tamimi expressed today, Tuesday, his fear of an increase in infections with the Corona virus, for not adhering to the preventive measures.
Al-Tamimi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Iraq has dealt with the Corona pandemic seriously, decisively and strictly,” indicating that “we still warn against the increase in injuries and preventive measures that witness neglect by citizens.”
Al-Tamimi added, "The Ministry of Health has taken the necessary measures to stabilize and develop the infrastructure, and this has contributed to controlling the virus," noting that "children carry the virus while they are transmitting it without symptoms appearing on them, and this motivated us to have working hours one day a week for students and to be Health teams are in schools.”
Al-Tamimi added, "We have sufficient statistics on schools, as a large proportion of examinations are conducted in schools and colleges," stressing that "the threat of Corona still exists in the world and the region, not only in the country."
