The Ministry of Planning revealed the measures that can be followed to reduce the increase in population growth occurring in Iraq, stressing that conducting the electronic census requires the purchase of 150 thousand tablets.
The Director General of the Executive Department of the Census at the Central Bureau of Statistics at the Ministry of Planning, Samir Khudhair Hadi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "there are many measures that the National Committee for Population Policy and the Higher Population Council can take," pointing out that "one of these measures is to reduce the number of births." Family planning and health care for the elderly, in addition to other things that can be taken to reduce these steady increases in population.
