The Western Nineveh Operations Command began today, Tuesday, implementing a plan to re-open the security forces in Sinjar.
Deputy Joint Operations Commander Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The West Nineveh Operations Command has embarked on implementing a plan to re-open the security forces in the Sinjar district center.
He added, "The plan included a redistribution of duties and responsibilities to achieve security and stability, and to create an appropriate environment and climate for the return of all the displaced to their areas within the district.
