Iraqi parliament voted positively in its session on Monday for three ministers (out of four); as said in a statement of the Parliamentary Media office (Ina received a copy of). Those Ministers being: Najah Al-Shammari as Defense Minister, Yasin Al-Yasiri as Interior Minister, and Farouk Amin Al- Showani as Minister of Justice. The parliament also voted to relieveShaima Al-Hayali of her dutiesand reject nominating Safana Al-Hamdani for Education Minister.
PM Adil Abdul-Mahdi presented to the Parliament on Monday the names of nominated Ministers; for Defense, Interior, Education and Justice Ministries.
Works of the Arab-EuroMediterranean Dialogues conference for a better economic organization started, on Tuesday, at the Italian capital, Rome, with the participation of Iraq in a delegation headed by the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Allaq.
Iraqi musician Naseer Shamma held a big concert at the Arbil Castle, titled “Cities of Daffodil”; with a large number of internationally renowned musicians. Shamma told Ina correspondent: “the concert was dazzling; considering it was held at a well- known Iraqi City, at the historic Arbil Castle. I was joined by a group of peacemakers; some of the world's leading musicians. The audience’s (Kurds and Arabs) reception was enthusiastic. This concert will be held again in London next October”.
