The Minister of Health, Hassan Al-Tamimi, confirmed that Australian companies will start establishing hospitals in Sadr City, Al-Diwaniyah and Diyala.
Al-Tamimi said during a press conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) in Karbala: "There are projects that will open in several governorates, including the German Hospital in Najaf and the Turkish Hospital in Nasiriyah, Maysan and Basra, pointing out that "there are projects in Baghdad, including a hospital Hay al-Amil and started work with a high rate of achievement,”
“Australian companies will start working in hospitals in the coming days, including Sadr City in Baghdad, Diwaniya and Diyala, with a capacity of 400 beds.” Al-Tamimi added “there is a real government trend to complete the slow projects and under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister to follow up projects personally,”
He explained that the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Karbala Health Department, laid down a plan to operate Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital in Karbala with a distinct mechanism to preserve the infrastructure, which is a qualitative addition," explaining that "Imam Al-Hassan Hospital contains 492 beds and for all medical specialties, including about 70 beds for intensive care with high specifications and the latest international medical devices, ”
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed earlier on Tuesday, that the government will implement all the delaying projects.
