Al-Kaabi calls for planning to start drawing modern policies to build the state

     Today, Thursday, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al Kaabi called on the Ministry of Planning to start drawing up modern policies for building the state and shifting towards a balance of programs and performance.

     And his media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Al-Kaabi received today, in his office, Minister of Planning Khaled Battal Al-Najm, in the presence of deputies Alaa Al-Rubaie, Muzaffar Al-Waeli and Amjad Al-Aqabi."

     The statement quoted Al-Kaabi as saying: The Ministry of Planning should invest its minister to start drawing modern and new policies for building the state and redrawing the investment plans for Iraq after reviewing the previous classifications of the investment sector, which led to the delay of many projects and stalled others.

     

     He continued, "There are giant projects that must be undertaken by the state, especially in the oil, energy, ports, etc. sectors, and there are medium projects that can be carried out through local administrations such as a small and medium oil refinery at certain costs, and here on planning to support such projects as they are important to the citizen on the one hand and the speed of their completion and can be completed.  By investing and investing the potential of local banks in this regard. "
