Today, Tuesday, the Polish military contingent in the Taji camp donated 50,000 protective masks to Iraq.
A statement of the battalion received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "the battalion, on behalf of the President of Poland, donated fifty thousand protective masks to Iraq, after Baghdad asked for support to tackle the Corona virus."
The statement added, "Iraq submitted the request through the NATO-Euro Disaster Response Coordination Center."
He pointed out that "Poland stands with Iraq to defeat the Corona epidemic, and to assist the Iraqi armed forces to continue their operations to prevent Daesh’s return and achieve stability."
