WHO: Health workers should be helped to tackle Corona

     "We hope to launch a major initiative this week to accelerate the study and development of vaccines against the Corona virus," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhnom Gebresus told a news conference.

     He added that "the initiative includes forming a mechanism that will ensure the distribution of vaccines among those in need" in a fair manner. "

     On March 11, the World Health Organization classified the "Corona" virus, which causes the "Covid 19" virus, as a global pandemic.  To date, more than a million people have been infected with coronavirus around the world with nearly 65,000 deaths, according to the WHO report.

     Scientists have published pictures of the "SARS-COV-2" virus, also known as Corona's new coronavirus, the virus that causes "COVID-19", at the NIAID Center in Fort Detrick, Maryland.
