The Al-Fateh parliamentary bloc announced that it would not vote on a government that does not enjoy national consensus.

The head of the bloc, Muhammad al-Ghabban, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Monday, that the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi is a candidate agreed upon by most political blocs, provided that he forms his cabinet cabinet from independents and provides a government platform that includes the commitment to hold early elections.

He added that the government curriculum, which Allawi presented to the House of Representatives, did not clearly include the commitment to hold early elections.

He pointed out that the Al-Fateh bloc refuses to take part in forming the new government in a veiled way to satisfy some of the blocs by granting them ministries under the names of independents, in exchange for their support, stressing that the Al-Fateh bloc will not vote on a government that does not have a national consensus.
