Kurdistan Islamic Union confirmed that the results of the meetings in Baghdad will determine our position on the Allawi government.
The representative of the Islamic Union Jamal Kujer told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Kurdish forces continue to hold meetings with the rest of the political blocs and will determine their position on the Allawi government as soon as the meetings are over," noting that "Allawi nominated names for his cabinet, without informing the Kurdish forces of it ".
The parliamentary wisdom bloc has announced the agreement of the political blocs to attend the meeting next Monday to gain confidence in the government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
" Allawi has completed the nomination of 19 ministries except for three ministries from the Kurdish quota, indicating that the difference is on the nomination mechanism, where the Kurdish component requires the submission of candidates from before him, while the prime minister-designate insists on Provide independent candidates based on competence and professionalism. "
Allawi also said in a speech addressed to the Iraqi people, "Your historic battle for the homeland for which you have borne heavy burdens and heavy sacrifices has changed political rules and resulted in an independent government formation for the first time in decades without the participation of candidates of political parties."
