PM orders the formation of a committee to investigate the events in Najaf

Interior Minister Yassin Al-Yasiri assured Al-Iraqiya News that "Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi is ordering the formation of an investigation committee into the Najaf incidents." A statement of the minister’s office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that the Minister of Interior, Yassin Al-Yasiri, had arrived in the province of Najaf.

The Najaf governorate witnessed, on Wednesday evening, a friction between the demonstrators and the blue hats owners in Sadrin Square.
