The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee confirmed, today, Monday, the decision of the House of Representatives to evacuate foreign combat troops from Iraq, which will not exclude any country. The head of the committee, Mohammed Reza Dawood Al-Haider, told the Iraqi News Agency : "Iraq is determined to evacuate all combat forces from its territory and prevent the establishment of military bases, and this decision will not exclude any country."
The Haider family indicated that "the parliamentary decision will allow the government to reformulate all security agreements with the global system with regard to intelligence cooperation and development and all areas of training according to the government's need for these forces." He added that "Parliament is coordinating with the government to evacuate all combat forces, especially American and Turkish forces, after they cross all the red lines by violating the sovereignty of Iraq."
