Salih and Al-Hakim discuss the acceleration of government formation

President Barham Salih discussed with the head of National Wisdom Movement (AL-Hikma), Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, the latest security and political developments in the country.

The two sides stressed the need to accelerate the formation of the new government and to contribute to the realization of the hopes of the Iraqi people and to meet their legitimate demands in achieving the desired reforms, a statement by the President media office to Iraqi News Agency INA.

The sovereignty of Iraq and the protection of its stability and security were emphasized by all parties, and being distanced from regional and international conflicts.
