Health Ministry takes preventive measures to prevent corona virus entry

The spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Saif Al Badr, told the Iraqi News Agency : "The National Center for the Control of Transitional Diseases of the Public Health Department has put forward preventive plans and taken precautionary measures, including monitoring all border crossings for foreign travelers, whether they are Iraqis, Chinese or foreigners." Noting that "a specialized medical team affiliated with the Ministry of Health conducts checks on passengers in planes and other means of travel, and in case of signs of illness on travelers, they are transferred directly to one of the private lobbies, which were identified for these cases."

On Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Environment issued a statement announcing that Iraq was free from any infection with Corona disease, which has spread to one of the regions of China recently, while affirming that all expatriates to the country from all countries in which any epidemic situation occurs, including China, are subject to examination at airports and border ports. .

Ministry spokesman Saif Al-Badr said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency: "Iraq is completely free so far from any infection of Corona disease, which was recently recorded in the State of China, stressing that the National Center for Prevention and Control of Transitional Diseases of the Ministry of Health has not it records any injury.
