Iraqi President Barham Salih met U.S. President Donald Trump in Davos on Wednesday, and discussed reducing foreign troops in the country.
"During the meeting, reducing foreign troops and the importance of respecting the demands of Iraqi people to preserve the country's sovereignty were discussed," included a statement by the President Office to Iraqi News Agency INA.
Both asserted that the two countries share good relations and mutual interests connects Iraq and US among of which the file of Oil and counter- terrorism.
Salih expressed that protecting Iraq’s sovereignty and maintain its stability is to in the favour of the whole region’s peace and security.
