    The Al-Fateh coalition affirmed that the next prime minister is independent and does not belong to any political bloc, while he made clear that the constitution obliges parliament to choose a prime minister regardless of the largest bloc.

    Member of the Fatah Alliance, MP Ahmad Al-Kinani said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Sunday: "The political blocs are proceeding with choosing an independent prime minister whose roots do not belong to any political bloc," noting that "if the prime minister is chosen, the parliament will hold a session even if He was on a legislative holiday to vote on the government program and the new cabinet. "

    He added that "the reference asked the political blocs to proceed with the selection of the prime minister, as well as the street pressure that affirms an independent candidate that does not belong to any political party," noting that "all these factors compel everyone to proceed decisively to the prime minister's candidate, whose duties are limited to establishing security And holding early elections. "

    He continued, "If the next prime minister is rejected by the street, then the demonstrators and public opinion have the right to say his word in the upcoming elections and nominate new names."
