President Salih reassures about Sayyid al-Sistani health

President Barham Salih sent a telegraph to the supreme religious authority, his eminence, Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani, to check on his health after suffering a health problem.

President’s telegraph included,

“May peace, Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you,

We followed, from the first moments, the news of your eminence health that it is was exposed to illness and its consequences, and as we thank Allah Almighty for the safety of your eminence and the successful completion of the surgery. We pray for granting you good health and well-being. By praying to Allah Almighty, we ask for protecting you and spare you all harm as an asset for Iraq and the Islamic nation.”

The telegraph also included that the “Presidency of the Republic will be fully prepared to contact the concerned medical authorities to provide the necessary care with our belief in the competence of the medical staff who conducted and supervised the surgical procedure and which will follow up the after-care of your grace”
