PM assures the ambassadors of three countries of the government's efforts to preserve the country's security and national sovereignty

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi assured today, Wednesday, the ambassadors of three countries, the government's efforts to preserve the country's security and national sovereignty.

The media office of the Council of Ministers stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency , that "Abdul-Mahdi received the ambassadors of Canada, Australia and Russia accredited to Iraq at their request, each separately, and the meetings dealt with bilateral relations and joint files and discussed the regional crisis and efforts to calm and prevent escalation and spare countries The region and the world, any possible repercussions of the crisis, along with the House’s decision to withdraw foreign forces from Iraq and cooperate against terrorism, and to continue consulting and communicating on developments in the situation.

He added, "Abdul-Mahdi affirmed Iraq’s pride in the positions of friendly countries in support of its security and stability, and the continuation of cooperation against terrorism, and of the common trends towards calm, the removal of the risks of tension and military conflicts from the region, and the focus of efforts on combating Daesh.
