Residency Directorate: Facilitations for investors in reconstruction

Directorate of Residency in the Ministry of Interior confirmed that all facilities are provided for reconstruction and oil companies.

"The Directorate started providing all facilities to investors in the field of reconstruction and oil companies," said the Director of the Directorate of Residency, Brigadier Qusay Al-Kaabi to Iraqi News Agency INA.

The ministry also directed for a rapid completion of procedures for entering investors in Basmaya project and Karbala strategic refinery project.

Al-Kaabi explained that the campaigns to arrest the smuggled foreign labours, are ongoing noting that "employment was limited with the approval of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and foreign investment companies contracting with the government were obligated to employ 50 percent of Iraqi workers,"
