The Prime Minister stressed the importance of consultations in the overall issues and aspects of the relationship between the two governments, noting that the existence of trust is sufficient to solve all issues, both internal and external, and that the current crisis is dangerous and requires cooperation, coordination and filling all the gaps that Daesh can exploit in these circumstances.
For his part, Barzani expressed his deep welcome to the Prime Minister and said: We appreciate the difficulties you face wisely, and we are with any decision that preserves the interest, stability, security and sovereignty of Iraq and avoids future risks, and with the importance of Iraq being a point of peace and immune from conflicts and non-interference in its affairs. The statement continued, the two sides stressed the importance of safeguarding constitutional freedoms and listening to the demands of peaceful demonstrators and the need for the state and government to impose its authority and prestige in order to preserve the interests of Iraq and achieve the aspirations of its people.
